Bringing you up to date

Well it's been quite some time since the last issue of the Perkins Post, hopefully this issue will remind you of why I started the post.

First off you will notice the sentinel picture on the right and the poor person beside it with all the bandages around him. The reason why these two pictures are side by side is that there is a vicious rumour going round that the committee are changing the sweaters to incorporate the new logo because of all the injuries we have at the moment, it seems that players and supporters are both picking up injuries, so to everybody out there who is suffering at the moment - Get well soon.

The other news that springs to mind is that we have a new edition to the supporters club in the shape of a little girl called "Ellen". She has appeared from the loins of the skipper Slim and was brought into this world by Sarah. To fill you in on the details she has longer hair and fingers than her dad and apparently is quicker between the wickets than me (no shock there !!!).

Can we fix him ?

It appears over the last weekend Shane Gwilt has yet again injured himself. To go with his shin splints and his damaged thigh muscle and his uncontrollable hairstyle, he has now ripped the ligaments in his left ankle. You might ask how he did this, perhaps running a quick single even stretching that extra few inches for a quicker delivery, nope, he fell over the kerb stone messing about last Saturday night.

To rectify this problem the Perkins committee have decided to take urgent action. Mummification during the week !!!!
