New Players

This week we have been interviewing two new players for the first team, both seem quite keen to join and fit the first team requirements. I will introduce them both to you and you can decide

This first candidate is Eric Cartman (South Park). He is a young right handed batsman who likes to bat at no. 3 and bowls a bit of offspin. He carries an American passport, and is 16 years old and weighs in at 13 stone 5 pounds and his favourite food is cheesy poofs.
The second candidate is Slimer (ghostbusters) who doesn't really want to play cricket but has shown an interest in doing the teas !!! He says that he can do the teas for £315.47 a week but that includes food for him as well, so travelling teams will now have to pay £287.47 for their tea.
Apparently these are called fruit and believe it or not you can eat them !!!!

Defender of the free world

Last week I called into the local Naval recruitment office to see if I could get some footage from their new training video because Sez Lez (Stuart Owen) is supposed to be in it. To my amazement he was. As you can see this frame shows Sez Lez walking through a model village in Cornwall showing off the new uniform for the Royal navy. I don't think the diet is working for him though

Guy says thanks (eventually)

I know it's been well over six months since Guy and Julia's after wedding do, but this is a thank you to everybody who came and for the presents and cards and best wishes off everyone. Apparently we bought them some lovely cutlery (not that I knew) and special thanks must go out to the DJ that night who kept playing the proclaimers. I am also campaigning to have all after wedding parties banned from Friday nights as it clouds the judgement on a Saturday whilst you are playing !!!!
